Sarah Reese ~ Secretary
Sara serves as the Secretary of the Foster Parent Association of Washington State (FPAWS), contributing her organizational expertise and passion for supporting foster families to the organization's mission. In her role, Sara ensures effective communication and seamless operations within FPAWS, keeping the team aligned and focused on advocating for foster, adoptive, and kinship families across Washington State. Sarah is an amazing person. Not only does she support families with her work as a Guardian ad Litem, but she has also taken in 50+ foster children in need of a home in Ohio and Washington State and given them hope, access to a loving family, and lots of support. Sarah and her husband added 9 adopted children from all parts of the world, including China, to their family and two biological kids. Sarah’s home is always open for the biological parents to stay connected with their children. She has a wealth of knowledge about feeding tubes, suctioning kids, sensory challenges, spina bifida mobility support, etc. Her patience and big heart is so impressive!
