We’re excited to introduce the newly elected Executive Board of the Foster Parent Association of Washington State (FPAWS)—a team of experienced, passionate advocates who are committed to elevating the voices of caregivers and driving positive change across the foster care system.
🌟 President: Jazz Dozier
A dynamic foster and adoptive parent, life coach, and event strategist, Jazz has spent over a decade serving the foster care community. Her forward-thinking leadership and deep commitment to advocacy will guide FPAWS in its mission to support and empower caregivers statewide.
🌟 Vice President: Mary McGauhey
Mary brings more than 20 years of experience as a foster and adoptive parent. As a longtime trainer at FPAWS conferences, she is known for her wisdom, compassion, and dedication to caregiver education and support. Her insight is an invaluable asset to our team.
🌟 Secretary: Sarah Gammons Reese
Sarah’s strong organizational skills and heartfelt commitment to child welfare advocacy help keep FPAWS focused and responsive. She ensures that the voices of caregivers are heard and that our initiatives are executed with clarity and care.
🌟 Treasurer: Shala Crow
Shala is the Executive Director of Foster Hearts and a tireless supporter of foster families across Washington. Her leadership in resource management and nonprofit operations ensures that FPAWS remains financially strong and mission-focused.
